Artist's Statement


Calling attention to the subtle beauty found in everyday subjects is one of the main directions I find inspiration and artistic license. People and objects seen as ordinary are often what inspire me the most. Taking influence from lighting and color, my paintings are representational by nature and intended to raise an awareness and an appreciation for the unique beauty inherent in our everyday settings, be that a portrait, an animal, a vehicle, or the urban environment they reside.
